Have you had Viral Meningitis and interested in taking part in our Pilot Project looking at the benefit of complementary therapies to help with after effects of the disease?

You should be over 18, had viral meningitis between 1st March 2010 and 1st March 2013, still suffering from after effects and not had any complementary therapies during this time.

We will be recruiting 20 participants who will have 10 sessions of one of the following therapies: Acupuncture, Cranial Osteopathy, Reflexology – all fully funded by the Meningitis Trust.

To register your interest, please send an email to Susanne Malcolm at SusanneM@meningitis-trust.org

We will contact you to ask for more information in order to select our participants. Thank you for your interest.

I've been looking through the complementary therapies being offered here and this is a fantastic opportunity for post VM sufferers to get help if they are still suffering from after effects. I know that alternative therapies can be very expensive ( I know from personal experience) so to have the opportunity of the Meningitis Trust lending a helping hand is a great opportunity to help you. Thank you to the Trust for giving out this opportunity.

Thank you for your offer. Our present study is concentrating on adults who have recently suffered from viral meningitis, however we may be looking at other aspects of meningitis in the future and any help is always appreciated.

Hi, our pilot project has now finished, but we may be able to help with some funding for complementary therapies, why not contact our helpline at helpline@meningitisnow.org or call 0808 80 10 388 to discuss further.
