HIV, TB & Cryptococcus Meningitis

My elder brother is diagnosed with HIV in last year October 2017. He had only 9 CD4 cells at that time. He was diagnosed with TB as well. He started TB medication and ART was delayed for first 8 weeks of TB treatment. After 8 weeks when ART started then he started experiencing severe headach and vomit. He is diagnosed with cryptococcus meningitis and doctor has prescribed 1200mg of fluconazole per day for 8 weeks. During the period of vomiting and headach he became bed ridden and after 4 months he is still on bed. His ART is again delayed till the end of june. Will he b be able to sit, stand and walk again? Please share your experiences. I am very much worried about him.

hello, same as my father's condition he has a Hydrocephalus with TB Meningitis. like you, we have the same questions as Will he be able to sit, stand and walk again? my father couldn't talk this time. because he suffered from relapsed. Just be patience and keep on praying that he will recover once his body is already ready.
