Nhs couldn't do more

Hi

My daughter 19 had VM 3 weeks ago the most frightening thing ever as they don't know which type until after the lumber puncture

She went to her doctor after being ill migraine temp sick every hour for 2 days he took one look at her said you look really ill go to straight to A and E with his letter we went to local hospital she had a bed x ray ct scan within 4 hours of arriving pumped her full of antiviral and antibiotics as they wasn't sure what type she was in hospital for 4 days since home been tired but is getting better all the time ready to start uni 2nd year in a couple of weeks

So after that please please get help as soon as you can as I think this helps recovering so much easier

I didn't know till the last time I had VM that I could die from it the doctor did so many more tests than the other 3 hospital admissions did he told me the day before I went home that I had the VM that can kill you ... so make sure the doctor does all the tests he can do...as I have had it since 1998 and only found that out in 2014, so he told me if I get to the hospital and tell them as soon as I arrive there is no risk, its only staying at home and doing nothing then I have the chance of dying ... goodluck and take good care of her as it usually takes me just around a year or more to get over the bout completely ...
