It depends what area your in and I presume you would need to Google it. Obviously there is a cost involved

Obviously, as you put it. I thought this was a forum where we are all in a similar situation & help each other where we can. Not leave ‘obviously’ and Google. I thought others might have some first hand knowledge of this .

Others might have some first hand info but I think the fact you didn't put area you live in makes it more difficult. People who live in a similar area might be more helpful. The first thing I would do is Google something, if I didn't know how it works. Apologies if this offended you but I personally haven’t used an independent social worker but that is where I would start.
