My son has traits of Autism and a learning disability. I would like to get him into independent living like a flat and me still as his carer as his 28 now and feel he needs to try to stand on his own 2 feet now as he siad he doesnt want to share with anyone as thats his Autism showing. So any ideas what route i should go down as he still living at home.

I don’t have any personal experience or direct advice to give to you, but I would recommend reaching out to Mencap’s Learning Disability Helpline at 0808 808 1111 or email helpline@mencap.org.uk as they will be able to give you some guidance on the paths you can go down. Wishing you and your son the best :)
