Can anyone recommend a prepaid debit card for my son to use on holiday and when out and about with his friends?

As a family we have used Barclays Bank PLC simply because they have the most robust guardianship profile that moves into Court of Protection Deputy type accounts and it is safe and well established.

Pockit - can be used in atm or at counter. Fees are low. Works well for us

my son has a Santander Basic account which has a debit card so he can’t get overdrawn. We have a lasting power of attorney and control how much is in his account. Only snag is more places (like buses) have only contactless readers. He carries a small amount of cash for this.
