Help needed- mental health.

Im wondering if anyone has been in the same situation or has any advice?

My sister is (horrible to say) becoming too much. She has an awful attitude on life and is battling with aniexty and depression which is causing imaginary illness' (have been checked by proffesional)

Shes fallen out with everyone so its on me 24/7. Late night phone calls, sucidal messages, abuse towards me or other people (verbal) she refuses help, and twists it back on people if you offer advice. Im at the point im not replying to messages or answering the phone because its just becoming too much when she wont accept help. But i get the guilt of what if she does something.

So if anyone has experienced this id appreciate any help or advice.

For a time frame, this has been going on 20 years and its getting worse.

So sorry, I don’t have any advice as in a similar situation with a family member. Just wanted to let you know I read your note and truly feel for you.. I find taking a break every now and the gives me the strength to engage again.

How are you doing now, did you call in to Mental Health or Gp, that your Sister was becoming worse. Are you her registered Carer. Maybe she needs to go into Supported Accommodation. ?

If your Sister Lacks Capacity, then you are well within your rights to ask Crisis team (Mental health Amht) have you got Contact numbers, look up your area one's eg Connexions, 111 can help direct you, if you say Mental Health Adult relative. Make sure All know Sister lives by herself.
