My son, lives in a semi independent flat where there is a carers flat 24/7. Just before Christmas the group that own the building and also provide the care. Decided to sell the building and evict the tenants. Reading their letter it states that they have to leave after 20th Feb, but also states that they must allow 6 months before proceeding with court action. However they have already reduced the care and are withdrawing all night support from 10th March. Basically they are going to force the issue through lack of care that is needed. Where do we stand legally? My son is 37 with autism ,ADHD, learning disabilities and diabetes.

Hi. This sounds terrible. What does your local Authority social services have to say about this ? Free Legal advice is hard to come by. Have you heard of an organisation called CASCAIDR? check it out and also ask mencap for advice
