I would like to know if it is normal to find audio to be a distraction?

I feel like being in a loud environment feels over stimulating and i need something to keep me focused on tasks. The thing is i feel i looks like i am not productive and can hurt how people see me.

Hello. I know this is an issue for many people. If you have a way of coping that is great. Whatever works for you. don't wory about other people too much. If you are worried - then it may be worth just telling them that you find it helpful.
