Can anyone tell me how do you go about getting a mental capacity assessment done Think i need one doing for my son When its done can you apply for financial deputyship with it If i get financial deputyship for my son can he have a bank account in his own name Dooes your local authority do the capacity assessment

If you’re applying for Deputyship through the Court of Protection then get a solicitor. They can arrange a mental capacity assessment. Or contact a company such as TSF Consultants if you want to arrange an assessment yourself.
