Hello guys, I want to keep doing some updates - especially during this time of craziness. Ryan is still doing fabulous. Last night and this morning was difficult due to some gas issues. But nothing to write home about. He feels so great, so much so, that he has started applying for work again! He has 2-3 interviews this upcoming week. Personally, I want him in a bubble and worry about how fast his cancer moves and is getting a job a good idea right now. But he has been sitting in his room doing almost nothing for going on 2 whole years now. His mental health means a lot to us obviously - and he needs to do something. So hey, why not? What’s the worst that could happen? He has to quit? Eh. He should be happy and do what he would like to while he can. His feeling of wanting to be useful and be active while he feels good is important. Work is something I feel like some take for granted. Me included. Being stuck with no job during the pandemic at first was glorious. Now I can’t stand it and all I want to do is go back. It’s been like this for Ryan for 2 years - and he’s at his wits end. Understandable 🤷🏻♀️ Ryan has lost almost all of his steroid weight, he doesn’t have edema in his legs and feet anymore, his red blood cells are rising! White blood cell count is looking great and his liver function is perfect! Creatinine is lovely. Blood work is just 👌🏻. So he will be getting his second infusion of Keytruda since the surgery on Monday. Between this next one and the third is when we will rescan. Took another look at his Foundation One results, and the mutations that he does have aren’t useful in any new treatments. So really just going off of his BRAFV600E. We will see how this goes. Crossing fingers super hard we can ride this horse into the sunset for a good while. But for now - just trying to give some hope. Ryan has been literal days away from death and has been pulled back, what 3-4 times now? Enjoy the good days - and whatever makes them happy ❤️ Also being vigilant and keep researching and being aware of any new leads.
