Abdominal pain and sepsis= hospital stay

My husband had severe upper abdominal pain with vomiting on Monday so we wound up at the ER and with an admission after temp climbed while in ER. Still in hospital with running tests to ground and getting infection of no known etiology under control and oxygen sats back up.

Good news also came to us yesterday. The clinical trial Wayne applied for has opened and the study doc wants him to come do all the screenings for inclusion. So time to get our giddy up going for this next step

Several theories but no difinitive cause if the initial pain. In liver MRI right now then headed for discharge this afternoon. Can’t wait to get him home

Thank you. Feeling a big wrung out. Our daughter came up for 24 hours and she’s been a blessing. We all played a game last night for needed levity

I am so happy to hear that your husband will be participating in the clinical trial you have been waiting for.

I am sorry to hear that he is in the hospital, I will be praying that the liver MRI shows no melanoma, and that he is able to come home soon.

Michele. Liver MRI negative fir melanoma. One cyst. We came home Thursday and both went to work Friday.
