Hi, I was just wondering if any one had any experience with results of Holter monitors. Mine was a 24 hrs Holter monitor and it's been 2 weeks now with no news. Is this normal for this type of test?

I believe this to be the norm these days. My friend didn't hear back for a few weeks.I hope you are doing ok.

Know mine was only a few months ago but I have already forgotten how long it took to get results. It was probably around 3 weeks. I was really disappointed with the results, they felt incomplete despite coming back as normal.

It was the same when I had the treadmill test. They looked at heart rhythm and completely ignored that my heart rate goes super high with little exercise even on medication.

I completely understand. I have a feeling thats what they are going say mine is despite by HR going to 190 some days just from getting up and walking. I'm assuming no news means it will probably be normal. Was you told its sinus tachycardia by any chance?

No, but I suspect that's what it is. I was diagnosed with dysautonomia and their focus in running the tests was to rule out a heart condition being missed. A type of dysautonomia is inappropriate sinus tachycardia and I fit that description, and have additional symptoms as well.

I think every doctor I see gets confused as I have hashimoto's disease (autoimmune thyroid) and have been suspected of chronic fatigue but that keeps getting put off as other problems pop up.
