Doctor in the House TV Programme tonight

There is a Doctor in the House programme on BBC2 tonight around midnight. Hope this is the delayed episode.

Telly says its about cluster headaches.

If you watch it would you be so kind as to let me know do they mention treating the headaches with psilocybin or they may say magic mushrooms.

Hello raffs, I have seen this one so sorry but I will not be watching it again. Poor lady is crippled by terrible cluster headaches. From what I remember I believe the lady was helped massively by a change in diet. It didn't stop the cluster headaches but it greatly reduced there number to a manageable level. I did watch Doctor in the House in the end.

The Dr put her in a 4 week elimination diet:-

No wheat, no dairy, no sugar, no chocolate, no alcohol.

Symptoms likely to get worse before they get better.

Dr also put her on course of vitamins (no other details).

At same time Dr sent her to Chiropracter, then

To Chiropracter specialising in neurology. X-rays showed that her neck vertebrae had a reverse curve to that that us normal. Turned out that she was un a car accident when she was 16yrs old. Side impact/rotational strain caused damage to neck. Chiropracter can now work on this area to 'relieve' area.

Her cluster headaches were reduced from up to 75-80 each 4 weeks to 5 per week.
