Congratulations to you Tessie66 on your run this morning, that looks as you ran a metric marathon, half marathon is 21K, a metric marathon is 26K, 1 think you can get a metric marathon badge next to your username, I wish you all the very best for your Manchester marathon in two weeks time.
Thank you so much
AlMorr is the king
Hi GTFC , I hope you are enjoying married life, โค๏ธโค๏ธ, it's not often that I get the EXACT time at the same parkrun, but it happened at Springburn parkrun on Saturday, my time was 31:48 which was the very same time when I ran there on October 26th last year โ ๐

Well done - thatโs a long way! Best of luck for the main event too!๐

Hi Tessie66; you have earned your Metric Marathon Badge, but I donโt expect you to need it for very long! Congratulations ๐ Long slow runs are great at this stage ๐

That's awesome Tessie!!! What a confidence lift that must be. Rest well now, and you will bag this marathon in style ๐ช
Hope the foot behaves for the next couple of weeks

Well done! That is a long old way and will be miles in the bank for your marathon. Howโs everything feeling today?

I did the same run myself at the weekend:
Coach Bennett:
"What's the first part of your form to break down?"
Me:
"I stop lifting my feet enough"
**fast forward twenty minutes and I'm entertaining dog walkers by going head over heels on a - fortunately - smooth and dusty path. Injured pride and a dirty right arm, everything else remained intact.
