This morning GTFC and I did Lincoln parkrun. We decided to ‘just pop in’ to a running shop - The Lincolnshire Runner on the High Street. Great staff who even know the owners of my (and Beachcomber66 ’s) local running shop too! Half an hour later we emerged with these beauties!
2x Hoka Rocket X @ £60 each
1x Hoka Mafate @£100
1x Adidas Adizero @£70.
I’m not sure if it was a good idea or not to go in. Thoughts? 🤣🤣🤣

It was such incredible value AlMorr the sales were just quite unbelievable really. To get 4 shoes at an average price of £72.50 is stunning 😍 and will help our rotation for at least a year. I'm still buzzing how good it is 😊😊

Honestly Jools2020 the value in the sales was fantastic and it was too good not too 😃 now we're covered in our rotations for the next 12-18 months 🙌

Oh super Sandie1961 we did think of you and it was a last minute thing. We popped to see my daughter who is at Lincoln Uni. We are getting nearer and will get to you at Market Rasen one time. The guys at the shop were brilliant, so knowledge and friendly. One took £60 off my pair of trails as they'd been used once. They knew Tasha's friend at Let's Run in Gt Ayton. Just fabulous people with brilliant sales and service at a local store. Such a brilliant day. In Grimsby now eating fish and chips and picking up my GTFC season tickets ⚫⚪⚽️

We will! Might do Yarbrough for the alphabeteer challenge. York would be closer for us to get the Y but it has not got toilets which basically rules it out IMHO!
Really boring, running round the leisure centre track, but good for PBs cos really flat and there are toilets 😂

Oops 🤣 I’ve been in that shop but thankfully I was in a hurry and I’d rung ahead to get them to put something to one side. I just had a very brief look round before I dashed off again. Just as well by the looks of things 🤣 But, you can never have too many shoes, enjoy 😃
