My 2nd organised race was better than my first! Despite the ridiculous weather and having turned my ankle 5 days before I did it. London was glorious (a bit too glorious) and there was walking in the 2nd half of the race which was criss crossing Hyde Park and often in the full sun shine. But rather than feeling demoralised that I couldn't run the full distance I was super proud that I finished, and just 10 minutes off my hoped for time. And despite having got a ballot place I raised Β£600 for a charity dear to my heart. Roll on the next Half Marathon

Well done - both on your run ( and yes, it was warm at the weekend) but also on raising so much money for charity.πππ

I know how painful a turned ankle can be so Iβm really impressed that you managed to run that distance! Many congratulations and well done on a great achievement with lots of things against you π
And a special well done for raising so much for charity too!

congratulations, it was so hot last weekend! You definitely should be proud of yourself.π

Well done! I like the sound of this race too. You raised an amazing amount too!
