Hey everyone!!!

I’m popping in with my pom poms to celebrate a very special couple of events with you all.

First up, a massive shout-out to the fabulous Freecloud who's running his FIRST MARATHON at Clonakilty on Saturday, 26th November runclon.ie/ smash it and have fun!!!!!!

As many of you will know, we recently lost our star of C25K, the one and only IannodaTruffe, a.k.a Tim.

This Sunday (or thereabouts), with the blessing of Tim’s family and in support of two amazing charities, VRBs will be out running and smiling together across the interverse for TIM’S RUN!!!!!!

Whether you are running or joining us in spirit, bon courage you fabulous runners!!! Let’s raise some extra big pom poms for all of us, and most especially Tim himself. DaTruffe, my friend I miss you ❤️

One of the charities, Hospiscare, have already written to thank us all for our efforts (we have raised very nearly £1000 for that charity alone); I am sure they will be raising virtual pom poms and cheering for us on Sunday too.

I had forgotten about Tim’s run and a reminder of his post had me laughing all over again. It was a very entertaining post.

I still pass those gates and so from now on I’ll think of him every time x

Pom poms have travelled safely to France and will be waved frantically for Freecloud and for everyone out for Tim’s run on Sunday. I hope to put in a turn with my local social running group on Sunday so will do my best to honour Tim with my efforts.

As for Tim's race report, I loved it, and there's so much in it with which I can identify. But Tim, oh Tim. Those ****ing gates are all very well, but how could you not post the ****ing elevation gain or ****ing hill gradients?! 😉

Ah well. I won't be doing any heroics on Sunday, that's for sure. Getting out for a run will be achievement enough, and I'll be taking Tim with me in spirit, as he so generously told me I could.

Great photo of Tim, it floored me when I heard the news, we all were such a good team and he will be missed. I will be out today taking stock and using the time to look around and soak it all in on my run.
