So last week I managed to complete my first virtual marathon. It was really tough but we got there. Initially I wanted to do in 24 hours but my body couldn’t manage it so used the extra day granted to complete it. Over the moon doesn’t come close!
Will probably try something a little shorter next time but still will attempt a marathon in the future! 💖

Fabulous!!! Just this morning I was thinking of you and wondering how you got on. Congratulations!!! I will give you your hard earned marathon badge to wear with pride 😊
Hi linda9389 yes I’m taking some time out to fully recover. If I’m honest it’s been a very big shock to my system. At times I’ve felt I needed to get back running again but know because of the effort I put in (which is often 5 times as much) that I need to take time out. As long as I keep moving and go for a walk it will be fine. 💖
Dexy5 yes it was my plan to start in the morning but started around 3pm. Managed around 6.6miles which took almost 2 hours then had a break for a few hours then started again at 6pm and finished it. The last part 4 my ratio of running to walking was longer I think….started off at 7 sec run with 30 secs walk. Finished off at around 15 secs run with 30 secs walk. Think I had a second wind 💨💖
