I don't think I've ever sweated as much in my life π sweating down my arms and legs!
The sun wasn't even out most of the run, but gosh it was really hot!
Took some determination to stick to my 12K plan.. nearly took the road home at 8K ..but had a word with myself π€£
Glad I pushed on through πͺππββοΈ
Looking at how far I've left to run on my 300K challenge... Just under 21K ..the question I'm debating now..of course..is... Do I try and finish in style with a HM next week??π€...
π€£ Just putting it out there π€£
Happy Running all ππββοΈπ

Of course Caroline you should finish your 300K challenge by running a HM next week, well done on that sweaty 12K you ran today, you are correct, anywhere in the UK the weather is very humid, despite very little sunshine the temperature is around 18C, congratulations on your run this morning. This morning I went a warm 5K walk on a possible new parkrun course very near to where I live, there is a possibility that new parkrun will begin in July.
... but its at the other end of the town, 2 miles out in the countryside, I would still need to get a bus, then walk uphill for about 25 minutes, nevertheless if it does start I'll give it a try.
Well done! Same here, had a very sweaty 10k this morning - itβs so close out there! I even had my tummy on display as I pulled my top up and tucked it into my sports bra - what a sight π€£. Well done for seeing it through. Def go for the HM Sparky! Iβll be cheering you on. I have 12k to go for this challenge, so hope to do that Sunday morning. All the best! πππ
Well done on your 10K πThere was a run a couple of weeks ago I ran with a long sleeved top, couldn't bear it , a few K's in it wipped it off, tied round my waist and ran in my sports bra π€£
Like here I'm running.. knocking my pan in... I don't give a stuff if I've got wobbly bits...
Iβve whipped my running vest off when itβs been boiling, just running in my crop. Sometimes you just have to βΊοΈ It doesnβt happen often in the U.K. to be fair π.
Well done on getting it done! We tell ourselves to push on when we feel we want to go home. Weβve to get back home so might as well run there π. Or more likely in this sultry weather, haul our sorry asses back home π
It's really up to you. You could nibble away at it over the next week, or you could do a HM to get it out of the way.
I got that badge on June 4th following a parkrun.
The only suggestion I'd make in the current weather is don't do a HM that finishes in the heat of mid morning, and take plenty of fluids with you. My watch reckons I sweated 1800mL doing one on Wednesday.
Yeah Nowster I'm only contemplating doing it all in one, ideally if I was out for 5.30am.. and I've got space to carry enough water and a gel pack..I have the weekend to think about it,see what the weather looks like early next week.. βοΈπ¦οΈβοΈ
Well now you mention it sparky, it would be epic to finish your challenge with a HM. But only if it feels right for you. Weβll be watching this space! πββοΈ
