I did find it hard but I finished! 2 hours 29 minutes, so about where I thought I'd be after my last 10 mile run. It was very warm. Beautiful Cotswold villages to go through. Apparently 1750 runners, so biggest race I've taken part in. There were pacers- which I found very useful so I don't think I rushed the start as I usually do. I ran with jelly babies and my water vest with an extra electrolyte bottle - (I sweat tons) The electrolyte drink helped as I felt like I was getting a dehydration headache with just water.... but that might just have been me stressing about getting there! We had crisps in our finish bag but not the promised teeshirt then I saw others with them so I must have missed where they were! Thank you for the pom pom waving - it helps!!!
