I’m about 2/3 the way through a HM plan, but slipped off the boil over Xmas due to family stuff getting in the way.
I’ve had to miss a couple of long runs as the only time I can fit them in is a Saturday morning and I was banned on Xmas and New Year’s Day (don’t see why).
Decided to move the completion date forward a couple of weeks as I assumed that would roll back the distance a little - how wrong I was, it instead presented me with 3x midweek runs and a 22.5km (plus 10 minutes warmup/cool down periods). I’ll see if this actually kills me on Saturday 😂
Is this normal or have I mucked the app up somehow?

I’ll keep it slow and steady, and go on the really boring road which has a frequent bus service,(and no real hills) if I have to admit defeat I can still get home 😂
I think you can switch coach mid plan without losing your progress which might reset things a bit if you'd prefer something shorter. Jeff's plan is built on a walk-run basis so does tend to be longer. And I like the theory but it does mean a lot of time spent out on runs which isn't great if you're constrained for time.
Didn’t finish the run, stopped at HM distance with my watch showing 3.8km left - there wasn’t a cat in hells chance I could run any further.Didn’t start Jeffing though until 15km, so not too upset.
