70th birthday present to myself -half marathon run

Hope to have started my 70th year as I mean to go on!

Ran/walked this morning with my running friends Sue, Suzi, Kirsten and Norinha. Weather was perfect and it was a really enjoyable no pressure run.

We retired to a local hostelry on our return into Vilamoura and had Fizz and Cake. Received some lovely presents which I wont bore you with! Feels good to have done it and I am really pleased with myself.

Suzi is the one at the front in the glasses taking the selfie and I am the one to the left of her with Norinha in the middle and Sue and Kirsten behind her.

Thank you. Yes, we are having a joint birthday party this Saturday with 28 or so friends and relatives travelling from the UK to join us (my husband is 65 in 10 days time). Looking forward to that too xx
