VHUHM completed!

Yes, I know it’s a week early but I hope it will be accepted! 😊🤞 I’m busy next weekend and the following week so I ran today instead. I was blessed with lovely weather by the seaside - relatively cool with a light breeze and a bit of sun to lift the mood every so often 🌞😎

I’m hugely indebted to CBDB who mentioned she’d put together a 145-155 BPM playlist on Spotify which I used and it worked very well for me 🎶🎶 and to Coach Bennett’s ‘20K run’ guided run on the Nike Run Club app 🏃‍♂️

There were a lot of people walking (and running!) along the promenade so it involved a bit of dodging to get round them, while watching out for cyclists and dog leads 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🐶😳

I’m very pleased I’ve managed it, although my legs are a bit stiff now. I think I’d better do a bit of stretching! 😉

Good luck to everyone else taking on the challenge, I look forward to seeing your run reports in due course 😀👍

Thanks CBDB it’s mostly lovely, but there’s a few hundred metres running on shingle and pebbles!😳

Nice one David, and you completed your weekly distance goal too! The shingle and pebbles sound like hard going!

Thanks SkiMonday the shingle and pebbles make for an ‘interesting’ run!🤣

Awesome running and i’m using that playlist that CBDB put together next time I run, what a good day to do your HM along the sea front although always busier on a sunny sunday

I don’t blame you taking advantage of the nice weather spell David, it makes such a difference. Shingle and pebbles? I avoid them at all costs! 🤣🤣

Well done on another HM

Thanks Dexy5 I’d avoid them too if there was another way to get to the end of the green at Middleton on sea!😊
