The last two runs have been a Parkrun on Saturday and a long easy run today (Monday).
I wanted to run another quick 5k this week in place of the week 2 proposed fartlek. I achieved this and was happy with the consistent splits and being just a couple of seconds behind my PB.
Yesterday was a rest day at the start of week 3, and today, an easy 12k to include some hills. I got off to a great start and it really was easy running for the whole 12k.
I felt a familiar twinge in my inner right ankle after 3k so I slowed up even further and even walked a couple of times.
I have iced it and elevated it this evening and I have noticed a slight swelling but Iβm hoping it will calm down overnight. π¬ Supposed to be a run tomorrow but Iβm going to rest up. Not taking any chances at this stage.
