13.5 miles done 😊

Dropped the kiddos at school today and set off for my long run. We’re back in masks in WA waiting to see if we will go back into lockdown. I had planned to try and run my HM on holiday on Rottnest Island Mid July but think it’s hard to plan at the moment. I also heard there are hills there 😳

Here are my stats according to Strava

PR 15k 1.53:56

PR 10 mile 2.02:18

PR 20k 2.32:27

HM 2.41:02

Last bit was hard going so would have struggled to make it to 14 miles. I’m not sure whether the tired legs were from Saturday’s ParkRun or the end of my longest running month 121.4 miles done.

I’m in awe of you super hero runners who run metric marathons, marathons and ultras ❤️🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

(Just found out we’re back in lockdown with a 5k radius and only an hour’s exercise allowed from midnight tonight)

Thankfully, I was allowed to not be wearing a mask outside if I could physically distance. I was carrying it in my hand just in case 👍🏻😷

Wow RW, that was epic timing...ran your HM just in the nick of time, well done on having the foresight to get it done 👏🎉

Also I'm totally with you on anything passed HM distance, 13+ miles is pretty darn challenging as it is without adding another 13 on 😳😆
