I know I might have already asked this before but I do 5 miles in 58mins now I think that's not to bad but what do you think I reckon that it is an average pace I know its not about speed but that's the way I run I feel like i could run all day at this speed i do abit of jeffing inbetween but ithink that is ok because you seem to be in the fat burning zone more while you are walking what are your thoughts on this am interested in what you think

I think whatever speed is a comfortable speed for you, which allows you to comfortably finish your distance repeatedly with no injury and still continue with your day is the absolute perfect speed. Happy new year and happy running 🤗

I think you've answered your own question. Running at a pace you can run at all day is the perfect pace especially for long distances. Doesnt mean that you cant add 100 meters of speed during a run

This pace is ideal for me (around 11 min to 11.30) to go long distance so I'm a big fan. Agree very much that running at a pace like this can make you finish a long run as fresh as you began and that's awesome. Most of my long runs (15 miles plus) are done around this pace and I love it. I don't stop though so no jeffing for me. Great going!!
