My daughter’s partner had been out for a long run...21km from their home near West Blatch Windmill, down to King Alfred...along to the Marina, and home again! I thought he may have been one of the people you’d seen 😂😉

...then I discovered he ran Monday 🙄😂

Crazy busy!! Difficult to run, sadly. I was wearing a fleecy snood, and I had it pulled up over my nose for most of the run - it was quite good actually 😊😊😊

I just saw it as a bit of fun. No offence here. But you’re right, there are some seriously speedy folk on that promenade! I sometimes like to tag on to them to give me a target or just to keep me going when I’m struggling.

I saw a few of them more than once, and definitely one of them was doing speed intervals! I like to tag onto people too sometimes, it's very handy and I don't think they ever notice me. There was one time ages ago at parkrun when I finished and a woman told me she'd been using me as a pacer!! It was a bit awkward because I was having one of those post-parkrun nausea moments 😂😂😂

I can understand why you removed it, although I don’t think anyone took offence. The question is would someone have taken offence if you switched genders. Very tenuous now. It doesn’t stop us thinking what you did as we run along though. 😉 .

I didn't get any complaints, but yes that question of gender switching was one of the things that made me pause for thought.

Also, by 'fit' I meant 'fast' not 'sexy', but I didn't realise when I posted that I needed to make that distinction! We live and learn 😊😊😊
