In August I seemed to reach my peak fitness with a VO2 max of 46 and a 5k PB of 25:35. As soon as I went back to work, everything went pear shaped. VO2 has been I hovering around 43/44 and my pace dropped. The last couple of weeks I’ve been trying to get back up, and last night a had a really strong run with club with VO2 back at 45. I feel like I’m on the way back up. Just posting as I’m happy 😊 🤣 Now, shall I sign up for the Yorkshire marathon again for next October? 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤣 🏃🏽♀️

Its a great feeling to be happy about running. I love the way it makes us feel. Have you signed up yet ? 😁😁🎄🎄
I’ve been debating for a couple of weeks. I said never again would I do that particular marathon after last time. But I need to give it a better attempt. But it’s such a big commitment.

Go for it Tasha; all of those miles over the moors will have made you really strong. As you say; you are committed now (you can always throw a sickie if need be.) 😉
