Just wanted to share a few grey skies (! ) from this mornings run! Today was my โspeedโ session (๐คฃ๐คฃ) - a warm up run followed by diagonals on the football pitch and then finishing with an easy run around the nearby ponds at the country park. I really enjoyed this today - the wind had picked up a little and it felt so refreshing! ๐จ No further sign of last weeks niggle, so all good there and looking forward to the gym tomorrow and my long run on Sunday.
Happy running, all!๐

itโs still there but I think the rest and exercise are helping. The rolling my buttock on a foam roller is worse than the symptoms! Maybe Iโve got the wrong one as itโs textured and certainly not soft, despite the label.
I'm looking forward to getting out this evening...I'm not planning on anything and will let the run be what it wants to be as I've had a few days of lacklustre motivation...
Hereโs a link to a YouTube video which explains them. Basically, a speed intervals sessionโฆ I do them on a local football pitch. Let me know what you think.๐๐
Sounds as though you are in really good fettle๐ and that is beautiful running territory; good to hear. Banished niggles are the best kind!
Today may be a rest day for many with Storm Ida blowing through; it looks as though things will start to calm down at 11am here oop north. Always interesting to receive e.mails from Northern Powergrid reassuring customers that they stand ready to deal with any power cuts! Ok so farโฆ.should probably get the porridge on the go whilst the going is good!!
