So ages ago I applied for the ballot for the London Landmarks Half Marathon and then forgot about it. Heard today I got a spot! Fingers crossed travelling and mass participation events are possible by May. They say it’ll go ahead as a socially distanced event if necessary, but I’ll reserve judgment on that for now and enjoy the thought of finally having an event to look forward to!

LLHM: Misplaced optimism maybe, but for now I'm excited!
Good luck! Hoping to do it too.
Judging by today's news, virtual runs may soon be history, they have discovered a vaccine which is 90% accurate, if that is the case they could start administrating the Covid vaccine early next year, that would mean large crowds could gather again including running events, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Exciting!!! It's a great event so fingers crossed 🤞
My event deferred from 2020 to March 2021 has just been cancelled. But they don't have the capacity to do it as a socially distanced event. The fact LLHM have made that statement suggests they are confident of it happening. I'm not booking anything just yet, particularly with hefty fees, I was told LLHM was £57 😲
Fingers crossed it will happen for you. I got in this year and obviously it was cancelled.
This one is on my to do list!
Oh how exciting! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😀
Something to look forward to! Having a target, race or goal etc helps keep us motivated.
Good luck with your training and preparations. Make a plan! 😀📝
Congratulations! It should be a great day out. I'm with Team Tommys, so I could have had a place then, but my daughter's Confirmation (fingers crossed) is the next day, so I've deferred to 2022.
I am back in for next year. Place carried over by Parkinson’s UK. My first ever race (I hope).
I got a place via the Ballot also. Yeah!! I did the first one in 2018 but didnt get into last years.
Something to look forward to
Agree, the price is high but they have promised it can be refunded if it doesnt go ahead. xx
