Nice short 20 minute run with jeffing today with my sister Esmee! We got back in at just the right time because it's now pouring with rain! π
However, I am really lacking motivation at the moment, it's such an effort to get out and run. I should note that I am on holiday in Cornwall at the moment and am completely out of my normal routine so that's probably what's causing it. I should have run 5 miles today but the minute I think about any distance I feel really unmotivated. I'm probably just going to do short timed runs for the remainder of my holiday and get back in proper training when I get back. I hate low motivation... π

Well you are on holiday, holiday from the longer runs as well, run a few short 3K runs every day or second day, that way it will keep you motivated until you get home.
Treat this as a cut back week! They're very valuable. Instead of beating yourself up about lack of motivation, praise yourself for working hard and earning this cut back week. Normal service can then resume full of renewed mojo!
Itβs always hard when you get out of your regular routine RC. I wouldnβt worry about that one bit. Enjoy your holiday, run (if you want to) with no pressure and come back home revitalised and ready to resume your regular plan! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Yes I think I was putting too much pressure on myself, just going to do short runs for now and get back to normal when I go back home. Plus there's not a lot of trails where I am apart some very rocky ones which I'm not too keen on where I prefer running on pavement. But if I run on the road here, it'll quite close to cars driving past me which just puts me on edge! π
