Looking at that screen for a second you would think that I had ran a half marathon, NO, the 10 on the right side is what I was expected to run this week, the 21.21 on the left is a combination of my 5K not parkrun on Saturday and this mornings 16K/10 miles. π ππΎ

Well done on this morningβs 10 miles. Was it in the rain? Happy running π€
Thanks Grannyhugs, most of my 10 miles run this morning was ran in mainly light rain, it went off occasionally, at other times, especially at the 10K point it was quite heavy for a short while.
That is the longest run that I have ever ran, just over two hours, at exactly 16K my time was 2 hours 2 minutes and 27 seconds, so the 2.04.14 is a little more than 10 miles, all in all I enjoyed my run despite getting a little wet, ha, drenched, however, I was only wearing a T Shirt and shorts, got changed immediately I got home and had coffee and a caramel short cake.
How are your pins today mate?
Good morning GTFC, I have just walked around most of the route I ran yesterday, just once today, not the umpteen times I ran around it yesterday, my pins are fine, no after affects from yesterday although I would n't have wanted to run today, my next run will be a (not) parkrun 5K on Saturday morning.
Congratulations on your first 10 miles Al. Have a well deserved rest and celebrate in style. Donβt forget to claim your shiny badge.
Thanks Dexy5, the words '10 miles' and shiny badge are on the marathon forum, I only posted this one as it looked as if I had run a HM, that 21.21KM is the combination of two runs, the (not) 5K parkrun on Saturday and the 10 miles I ran on Wednesday, I don't think I will go on to HM, I was really slowing down on the last 3Km's yesterday.
Amazing Al, huge congratulations on your 10 mile run. I'm working my way up to that at the moment so you are an inspiration to me. Hopefully I'll be able to do it in as quick a time as you, just over 2 hours is fantastic. I bet that coffee and caramel shortbread tastes even better after that effort.
Huge well done again Al, absolutely fantastic
I believe you will get there in time. Keep doing what you are doing π
Thank you, I'm not in any hurry to get to the distance so am taking it steady, increasing by 1km every other week at the moment. It is so inspirational to hear about when others do it though, it makes me want to get there too!
Thanks FRB, I hope it won't be long before you can run ten miles, just like C25K take all the runs slow and steady ππΎ π.
This really is the best way. Steady and incremental increases in distance and you'll get there fitter, stronger and with more stamina.
Very well done on running 10 miles. Itβs tough isnβt it? I managed it on Wednesday too. Having a couple of days rest now. I might try a half marathon but no more! I hope you are feeling ok nowπ
I am feeling fine thank you Raspberrypink, I was hoping to run the full circuit on Wednesday, but the wooded part of the route gets very muddy when it's raining, that meant it was a case of running around in a smaller route more times to make up the 10 miles, if we can get a reasonable dry spell before the end of September I will run another 10 miles on that longer circuit.
