Starting into the finishing week 4 of Blooming June Quest.
Got to hang tough to get this done or settle for a repeat and later rerun of, 10k,20k,30k and FM in a month.
We have had such a long run of dependable weather during Lockdown that when faced with a less predictable period, itβs a pain in progressing an outside work programme.A local outbreak challenges your personal reaction and actions.Gosh lots of stuff on the national news. I beat myself up in dismissing or just finding excuses in stalling the β of my first and once in a lifetime marathon.
You are doing very well Tbae, congratulations on that Metric Marathon which you ran and is now next to your username, that's 26 Kilometers as with a half marathon being just over 21 Kilometres.
Don't beat yourself up regarding the news, one of those days it will get better, it won't be long before you will run the marathon that you have been training to run for the last few years.
Youβre a C25Kβer so of course youβll do what you set out to do. Iβve stopped listening to the news and catch up via online, much better πͺππ
Yes I do also.On our doorstep is the Army doing testing of 560 employees from a known outbreak. So far 75 positive and rising from 350 tests conducted so far.PHW rightly concerned.
I did think of you Tbae when I heard that on the news last week. Anglesey is small enough to be a close knit community, so I'm sure it's not possible to ignore it and the more general fallout. Hopefully it will be brought swiftly under control and you can all look forwards again. As for the FM? Yep, it will happen. If not this month then next? Or the next ... after all, if it happens this month what on earth will you do in July? π You just swap one issue for another π
