Was on my warm up run before hill sprints and sprints, went over on my ankle. Really thought it was going to go crack. Really not in good form now.

Sorry about your ankle injury JL, I just hope it's not too serious and you can get back to running soon, but until it is healed don't run.

Hopefully. Road bike is on the turbo trainer. I'll rest it tomorrow and try it on Saturday.

Johnny I’m sorry to hear that mate. I just landed on the IC too with some IT band issues. Hope you are good for Saturday! 🤞

Thanks IP. Was bound to happen at some point. Just walking and cycling for this week and maybe next while it heals

I'm sorry I didn't even read that properly. It is sore from I remember. How long you reackon you'll be out for. Does walking help

I’m guessing I could be back at it some lower mileage runs by next weekend. Till then I’ve been walking and running and trying to follow my physio’s advice around exercise snd specific stretching. Both walking and riding seem to help. Had a 15k ride this morn that I quite enjoyed.

Oh Crap!! Mend well.

It does. But still let's me know that I've hurt it.

Hopefully a little less tomorrow if you're careful 🤞

I feel for you as I’ve done the same in the past. One thing that really helped me apart from the usual- was to keep stretching the calves. An ankle injury tightens up calves so make sure you work on them regularly.

🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 it's not serious, look after yourself!

Thankyou. Someone is telling me that I shouldn't be doing more than the 20k 😂

🤣👍🏻 maybe your body wants a rest!

Joking aside, sometimes it is a warning that we're maybe tired or not as focused as we might otherwise be. My two recent falls have made me a lot more conscious of form/footing etc. We can get complacent, not paying enough attention to the ground ahead etc so it can be a wake up call.

Oh darn it! 🤬

These things happen unfortunately. I hope it’s not serious and responds quickly to the usual treatment

Fingers crossed that you’re soon back out there. 🤞
