We are still not on lockdown in Canada just yet and so I was able to get out for a morning long run yesterday. I went to a small nature reserve that another group member recommended and it was small but beautiful and quite hilly. I stopped to take a number of pics, and had planned to just do 10k in the park and finish the last 10 outside of the park on the flat roads, however the roads had no sidewalks or paved shoulder which did not feel all that safe, so I ducked back into the park again and finished up in there. Social distancing was not a problem since it was raining all morning and it was just me and the geese! Happy running everyone.

Sunday trail HM
Looks like a really nice trail, and reminds me of my local runs around here.
We also have Canada geese, that live on the lake that you might see in the photos I post. I also have a bit of elevation on my run, which I think is helping me improve my technique.
I hope you can keep doing those long runs for as long as possible.
Thanks Dave, yes it was a treat to run this trail for me.
They really are International Geese aren’t they? The elevation is harder but I think you eventually just get used to it, so it should serve you well.
I hope we all can keep running. They’ve just closed all the parks across the province now, so it’s back to path runs for me again.
Oh how lovely😃. What fun. I’m dead envious
I imagined everywhere to be under lockdown ☺️🙂. Make the most of it 👍🙂
Wow! what an amazing place to have to yourself! You really do get to cover a lot of miles very frequently - amazing!
I was fortunate to find this one and now they’ve shut all the parks down so back to my usual routes again for awhile. Just happy to run anywhere really.
I love seeing these photos from your runs, Decker! Thank you for posting xxx
Beautiful photos Decker. That looks just a lovely run 🏃🙂
Just wonderful... I am loving your photos as ever ..thank you ! Every time I see them...I remember when you began this... WOW!
Thanks Floss. It has been an amazing journey so far.
And some journey this still is mate. I remember your post when you suggested that the time would come when we might run to the shop and back home, carrying the shopping (or something similar along the lines).
A few days ago l ran 12k there and back to buy three pomegranates (don't ask, man). What I take home from that is that running back (6k) with one arm moving and one arm flat down (a bag with pomegranates) will mess up your hips.
What l have learned? Eat them straight away. Just sit on the curb and devour them.
Lovely photos! And I'm glad you managed to get out for this beautiful scenic run before the park got closed! Stay safe xx
Looks lovely well done 😊xxx
Nice Decks. Enjoy the long runs while you can mate! Keep rocking those awesome sound tracks
