Is a physio not possible for you, Paul?
Whish I could but cant afford it
£10 sports injury clinic at Salford University: salford.ac.uk/health-and-so...
Do you have a uni nearby? Our local one offers free consultations with final year physio students as they need to gain clinical experience. The appointment is of course overseen by their qualified tutor. May be worth a phone call if there's a uni or college reasonably near you?
Wise move stopping immediately. I can imagine your frustration, but yes rest, and if possible see a physio to see if they can pinpoint where the injury is situated and offer exercises to help. If no physio, then rest rest rest anyway.
You’re super fit Paul, and have zillions of brilliant miles in your legs. Keep your chin up, I’m sure you’ll be healed soon! 👍
So sorry it's not yet healed, really glad you stopped though. Try to stay positive and find some safe cross training to keep your fitness levels up and your mind occupied!
Rest is the thing...I did some gentle exercises to help...but come back was slow...the exercises are on the Strength and Flex forum...

..and the link roseabi has sent could help..fingers crossed..x
Don’t get anxious. It just makes things worse 🙂. Tenses you up
How many weeks have you rested? I mean completely?
If, after four weeks it’s not healed then you could see your doctor
I sincerely hope it’s nothing to worry about 🤞🙂. As we get older our injuries take longer to heal. Eat healthily won’t you! 🙂
Two weeks 🙄. Oh well at least you have two weeks to REST while you wait. You can do other stuff carefully to keep yourself from seizing up 🙂
Hopefully you’ll be better by the time your appointment comes round 🤞
It’s not a failure. Not trying is a failure.
You’re injured. You’ve rested it. Tested it. It’s not ready.
Get to a physio. Get a plan. Follow the plan. All will be well.
