Who has more than one device?

I have a Polar m430 watch which I have had for nearly 3 years and a Fitbit Versa since 23rd January, the latter I intend to use for swimming. Who else has more than one device and what do you use it for? Do you alternate the two or do you use them for different activities. Just curious as my husband asked what was different about the fitbit compared to my Polar m430. I said that the fitbit was for swimming tracking. Think he couldn't understand why I needed two devices. The fitbit will of course be a backup if my Polar m430 ever packed up.

I suppose variety is the spice of life. I’ve never had a proper explanation from Madam Loris about why we need so many cushions.

I have a fitbit inspire which monitors my steps, heart rate and sleep and even menstrual cycle (sorry!) I don’t use it for running as it doesn’t have vos without connecting to a phone, just too much faff.

Today my Garmin 45 arrived which I will use for running and only for running. It has GPS, and I won’t have to faff about with my phone 🙂

So I’ll be part of the two device club!

Yes a fitbit charge and a Suunto Sparten. Fitbit for everyday because its small and the battery lasts an age and dont notice I am wearing it and the fitbit software is quite good.

And the suunto for swimming, running and cycling because i dont like to wear a big watch all the time only when doing sports and its accurate. The fitbit's are not so good for sports as they are not as accurate (even the ones with GPS in them) I also have a spare running watch well just in case my suunto breaks oh and cycle computer as well!

Fitbit zip, Garmin forerunner, Coospoo heart monitor all on me when I run, Fitbit on all day every day to count walking steps, fitbit and Garmin connect together and with My fitness pal so I don’t get double step/calorie counts. Love tech 😁

Tell him to mind his own business 😁. My husband has umpteen power drills but I wouldn’t venture to ask him why 😁🤷‍♀️💪

I’ve got two Garmins and a Polar The polar was a gift but it’s not a running watch. I used it for doing strength and for workout DVD’s as it does heart rate.

I’m hoping to sell the lot on eBay and buy a watch with a longer battery life - one to see me through a marathon
