It's snowing and we can't see a thing! Pic is the photo I took when we arrived v what we see out the window this morning! A gym and pool day if they aren't too busy ๐๐โ
(Edit: this was a misleading post, the bit I missed out was that I don't like skiing - the dream was a for a no-ski day on account of snow! ๐)

That's a better idea by far! We are actually about to don ski gear and go out there ... ๐ฑ ... but have the pool and spa booked for the afternoon, so it won't be for long ๐.
Yesssss! I earned loads of brownie points by suggesting we try the easy run this morning! Then we virtually had the pool and steam room and saunas to ourselves for an hour or two over lunchtime, then late lunch with cake followed by a walk thru the town in the mist! We picked up this hotel in a last minute, bargain deal which really paid off today ๐. No snowman though ... unless I count when I ended up off piste in deep snow, shuffling back uphill on my bum, skis in hand ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ - there was snow everywhere!
Snow, lovely photo of the snow, where I live in Central Scotland we have just had our first fall of the winter, had to wait to the end of January, usually the first snow is well before that, at the beginning of December.
Ooh, that looks schnongles as my Irish mother used to say when it was freezing outside. It also looks gorgeous. I think the ability to sit and admire is vital for a runner. Definitely part of the rest day training. Enjoy it Linda.
Oooh... Fresh snow, lovely the next day. We were in Italy ( Cortina) last week. Very beautiful and also quiet BUT>>>> I picked up an injury. Working with Physio to get me back before my HM in March. Have a great time but do take care!
I don't fancy ski-ing either...but think the beautiful scenery, hot chocolate (maybe with a bit of something boozy popped in, just to keep you warm), nice food and the gym on run days sounds perfect โ๐ฅ๐โโ๏ธ. Have a wonderful time ๐
That's exactly what I mean! It's always scared me. I hate being out of control. I hate the thought that people around me may be out of control. And I know bad things happen on ski slopes when people are out of control. And I want to be able to run on Sunday ๐๐๐
I get you...I'm like that about driving unfortunately which is why I barely do!
Totally understand the fear of not being able to run, it's amazing what changes we make to our lives and how risk adverse we become to anything that may stop us having a run, especially the long one on a weekend! #runningaddicts!
