I have chatted with m'colleagues, and we have decided to add a Metric Marathon badge - so congratulations you are the first person to have one!!!!!! xxxx
I have already awarded it to you. The badge is the words 'Metric Marathon' next to your name when you post or comment in this forum - you previously had a 'Half Marathon' badge.
If you are using the Health Unlocked iPhone app I am afraid you will not be able to see your badges, you will have to log in via your internet browser...
Just passed the 10-mile barrier for the first time. Ran 17.21K (10.69 miles). Exhausting, but itβs making the HM seem like it might just be possible...
I covered a distance of 55km one day on the Camino de Santiago in Spain (spring 2018) but it wasnβt one of the days I ran/walked the trail, so I donβt want to claim my Ultra badge on the basis of a long walk! I do intend to jog a 50km training run sometime later in 2020 though (towards the end of the season). Damn! Now Iβve gone and typed that on the forum so thereβs no backtracking on that.
Hi, could I get my 10 mile badge please? I managed to do 16.8K this morning (10.4miles) Half Marathon finally feels possible, even if i was absolutely exhausted afterwards!
I actually think this is my new favourite distance, it takes me 5km for my body to realise I am running and 10 feels ok but this felt as though I had really worked hard
In my grumpiness about my terrible 17 mile run at the weekend, I overlooked the fact that I have completed a metric marathon. I have to complete an imperial marathon in April, but for now, I am thrilled with that milestone. May I be officially badged please, Abi and Linda?
Did my first 10 miles this morning! Feeling quite positive in the journey so far, and really never expected to say I was aiming for a HM, given this time last year I hadnβt even started C25K!
I ran my first 10 mile race last Sunday (Freethorpe 10), only the second time covering the distance - got an awesome medal at the event, but would love one of your badges too please. Now striving for a half in March.
We do give badges for non-event runs, so here is your 10 Mile badge! Actually we do not award a 10K badge here because there is a separate community dedicated to 10K running π
I am running the Brighton Half too! Not long to go now, I just hope it won't be too windy...
We have a Spring Half Marathon Group here in the community - check it out! The latest post, with all the posts linked at the bottom, is here:
Can I please have my first Half Marathon badge please I am so pleased with myself that Iβve actually accomplished this and now Iβm going to concentrate on getting my time down and Iβm now confident that Iβm going to complete my first HM race at Wilmslow ππππ
Hello, may I have a "10 miles" badge please? I ran 10 miles for the first time this morning, and hope to run it every Monday, gradually extending it to HM distance.
Can I have my half marathon badge? I was jeffing it but Iβm assured that counts: I ran 90% of the distance, twelve one-mile jogs with two minute walks between them.
Hi roseabi, Not sure I am in the right place here to claim a 10 mile badge. I started C25K in early May this year, and have just run 16.69 Km in 1.47.39 Hrs with a pace of 6.27/km. Not to shabby for someone whose next birthday in August will put me into my sixties. Please can you add my badge to my profile. Thanks
I have awarded your badge, but please be aware that it does not appear on your profile, just next to your name when you post or reply on the Marathon forum xxx
