Thank you so much Roseabi xx. That was speedy and it looks so smart! I ran from my house to central York where I got gait analysis and new shoes. Had a hot dog nomnom (which I shared with my RB hound) and we are now both very tired and happy xx

I feel surprisingly good, I ran on Tuesday and should have run yesterday or today but had some family stuff to deal with so didn’t get time. I’m hoping to get out for an hour tomorrow then a ten miler on Sunday. I’ve been really lucky with my feet, still have all my toenails and everything. I hope yours heal quickly for you x x

Hiya Madge , good to hear from you ! 😀 It found it sooo hard , miles 19 - 23 were pure torture ha ha !

I’m so happy that I managed to do it . I hurt in every place imaginable after , but the aches and pains disappeared after a couple of days apart from my toes . I am in possession of some lovely purple toenails 😀

I’m doing it again next year , I must be mad 😀 xxx

[Rhodalewis 10 Miles]

I love this forum but haven't posted for ages. I was an avid follower and occasional poster when I did c25k completed in sept/Oct 2017 and still carry so many of the people and words of wisdom with me and share them with other new runners. I then did Ju Ju's 10 is the magic number plan and completed my first 10k race last September (Windsor Womens) I was ridiculously chuffed and always said I would never run any further. But on Sunday I completed the Chedworth 10 mile trail run which included running through a river. I am so proud of myself and would love the 10 mile badge here to claim bragging rights. Half marathon has to be next on the cards so I'm going to look at your training plane roseabi . Can you post a link please. A million thanks to everyone who has been part of my journey. Happy Running .🏃🏃

The forum is for any sort of race, and we are here to support anyone who would like to take their running past the 10k achievement.

A half is definitely doable for the majority of people - and can be a lot of fun 😊😊😊

I live in Swindon so there's one there sept but if I only do one I want it to be pretty!! So possibly Bournemouth in October. I would like to do Royal Parks or London Landmarks but that would be next year and I'm thinking might be better to go for this year whilst I'm feeling motivated!!
