Well done. Sounds like quite a journey over the past 2 years!
Congratulations, do pick up your 10 mile badge. Gsr is such a great event, fab organisation and brilliant atmosphere. After a rest, what will you do next?
Half marathon next. Not sure which one! Some of it depends on my OH who is a bit of an ultra boy. Heโll find me one thatโs not too hilly for my first! Canโt wait, but Iโll certainly do GSR again, such a great atmosphere.x
Iโve registered for Hampton Court HM on 15 March. Quite flat, out along the river, starting and finishing in the Palace and free entry to the gardens for runners.
Thatโs what I thought! One of my friends persuaded me that, if I can do 10 miles, I can do a HM (he does several a year!). I could choose which one and heโll run with me. How could I refuse?! This one looks lovely!
OOOH that sounds a good one! Iโll have a look at it and let you know if Iโm doing it. Plenty of time to add three miles too! Local ish as well.๐
Congratulations Katiepops- I didnโt realise you were there as well. Isnโt it a great t-shirt too - Iโm showing mine off at parkrun next week. Maybe not the medal though. ๐
I teach special ed. So I donโt need to be too smart at work, so I wore it today! Didnโt wear the medal though. People might think I was nuts.๐๐
