Has anyone got a place for VLM 2020 yet? Do all the nos get sent out first?

Was miffed for a moment but then hugely relieved.

Mine was a ‘No’ but I had the lush running top as a consolation prize and (to be brutally honest) was relieved to be unsuccessful! I entered the ballot before I began my HM training and realised how far that was- never mind a full 😂😂😂

It was a no for me, but I agree that the top was fantastic and worth the disappointment (maybe even relief) of not getting a place. 👍

[Hidden]

Mine was a no via email on wednesday but I did get a lovely reject top! I have run a marathon earlier this year and would have trained again for next april but it does take a lot of time away from the family. I will run another marathon but just not VLM 2020.

I got a place, but it wasn't from the ballot - VMLM gave free places to people who ran at the back in 2019.

I was in the ballot anyway, and had donated my entry fee - the ballot shows as 'withdrawn' so I guess I did pay for the entry after alll - not that I mind - just feel very grateful I get another chance to run it and am in hard training to try and get a better time this time!

I have a place but not through the ballot. I am running as part of the team for the hospital that looks after me and their cancer charity. I did enter the ballot in case I could release a hospital place for someone else but ended up with a jacket (lovely actually) instead. I confess I feel a bit mixed about the prospect of the marathon, but determined!
