I've vacated Blighty for sunnier climes though it's been a bit stormy here recently.
After a leisurely drive south I felt like a long run so on Friday I took off into the hills for a total of 12 miles or so.
Today is hot with 90% humidity so I set off for a short run on a familiar route. Top picture is heading inland towards a little village that is just visible in the distance. Then it's back on to tarmac.
Picture of the old village well in case there's any old well fans reading this. Not much to photograph in the village to be honest.
And finally, feeling a bit cream crackered, I left the road again to go back over the hill to the sea and home. Except I zoned out and lost the path so ended up scrabbling around for a bit.
Friday easy 12 miles. Today much slower 5 miles that was also harder. Still nice to be back though.
Happy running all.
