Hope for us all, no matter what age
Yay, yoga, burpees, and tart cherry juice ftw!!! π
I say just keep moving until you can't move anymore! ππ»πͺπ»π
I notice, as i race, just how many older women there are ripping it up out there It fills me enthusiasm ππͺπββοΈπ΅π» Yeeeeeeeeeeeha πͺ
I'm sure I posted it once before but one time running around my local streets I passed an elderly chap, 80 or even 90 plus with his dog and Zimmer, he was doing what I thought was a strange shuffle and it was only when I got around the next corner that it dawned on me that he was running! Bless him, it wasn't fast by my 4 decade standards but I'll be well pleased if I'm still trying when I'm his age!
Never give up ππ»π
Haha that wasn't positive, it told me I had already peaked and then went on to list which bits of me were going to fall off and at what age ππ
Tai chi for me then. Not sure how Iβm going to fit more exercise and recovery in my life π
I hope you know that contrary to its 'mild and meditative' image, tai chi is still one of the most recognised forms of Kung fu. As in, once the moves get faster, people get hit π. And some of the moves are right out of torture chamber. I should know, l am married to its master. π
Some folks gather in a park near me and do something tai chi-like but itβs hand movements where they intertwine arms and hands. No idea what it is. π€·ββοΈ
50 plus here, I am afraid already too passed it for burpees. Theres nothing explosive about me anymore. But do agree on the stretches.
