Blimey - from never having run in my life before ever ( always the fat girl and last in the 100 metres at school by a very long way), with a lot of help from my friends and these forums I have gone from doing nothing in February this year, through C25K, Bridge to 10K and yesterday successfully completed the GNR half marathon. Its truly amazing what is possible with a little help from your friends and the right mindset. A year ago i would have laughed at you if your said I could run 1K and I had to have three goes at week one of C25K before i could actually do it.
I have learned not to say " it's impossible" and have learned to daily push the boundaries of what IS possible - and it feels great. Thank you to everyone on the three sites for all your help and support. Onwards!

Fantastic journey and great result! Our bodies are amazing tools if we just look after them! What a great achievement, will look forward to things to come from you! 👍🏻😉😁
You only started in February this year?! Blimey, that’s amazing. Congratulations on finishing the GNR yesterday - I found it really quite tough (C25k graduate December 2017 🙂)
Brilliant! I love looking back to two years ago me and saying 'you can run half marathons now'. If only she could hear me she'd laugh and not believe it 😁 That looks like an excellent medal too! Jealous! Nicer than last year's 😍
