I’m at the England football team training ground with media and broadcasters for work (I do love my job) and woke up with 20 mins before I had to get moving, so I got up, headed to the gym, and just cracked out an easy 20 minute run. 2 miles total including my warm up!
Foot felt good too, there was a time not so long ago where 20 mins seemed totally unattainable, and now I’m not even tired! I blame all these long runs in prep for the Ealing Half (attempting 10 miles on sat!)
Happy running all

I get a lot of joy from my long runs, standing atop a hill surveying where I've been/ where I'm heading and the wonder of 'I just ran all that way' which 18 months ago just would have been unbelievable!
Good luck with your 10 miler on Saturday! The long training runs do change one’s perspective on shorter runs. When you stop and think it’s amazing the new longer runs we can do.
