My hydration backpack

WOOPS!!!! I have used my hydration backpack a number of times over the last 3 months - including filling it with ENDURA. I did ask and everybody said it would be OK :) I have taken particular care to rinse the bladder out with fresh water and to make sure it dried out completely. I also made sure to rinse the drinking tube out - although it was really impossible to dry it out. I just went to put it all away as I won't be using it for probably a long time :) - and I saw what was growing inside the tube!!!!!! I must have a strong gut - I should be dead!!!!

I think I read that folks put em in the freezer to keep bacteria at bay

I dare say you could use a sterilising tablet to be sure

A lick ‘o dirt ....... 😁.

I expect your being as fit as a butcher’s dog gives you a good level of immunity to such stuff My husband works at the mucky end of the nhs and catches nowt 😁. I thought I was pretty bomb proof but I recently succumbed to chicken pox virus ☹️
