Anyone else? Have switched bluetooth on and off, restarted phone, put watch on charge to reset it .... Connect still says my 235 isn't connected.. πŸ˜₯ I'm not aware of any updates to garmin or android either so just wondered if anyone else has the same problem.

Thanks Abi. Will try later. Busy day today. Next step in garmin instructions is reinstall the app which makes me nervous of losing data πŸ˜€

Oh how annoying! No advice I'm afraid but mine buggers about no end all the time - rectified by all the the things you've already tried πŸ˜•

Sorted it by unpairing from phone, then a full power down of the watch, then restart, then re-paired. It had got worse as the day went on - wouldn't even recognise the charging cable in the end - so must've got it's knickers in a right twist 🀣 Still, all's well now πŸ˜€

I've not had any problems so can only relate what I do (order of fiddling). I keep blutooth turned off on both my phone and fr235. After a run I turn on the watch blutooth then the phone's in that order. Sometimes it connects instantly but other times it can take 15-20 seconds (no idea why - phone multi-tasking, watch doing some housekeeping in the background? Who knows.)

I don't think watch software gets bug tested to the same level as other more critical software so some releases might be more buggy than others. I must have auto software updates enabled somewhere because it promots me to install new a version from time to time.

Yes indeed. I now think it was a buggy watch moment! I can see it recorded no steps or activity during the day til I reset it. I'd been doing the wrong thing to reset it too - once I powered it down properly all was well. πŸ˜€
