I really wanted this to be a 14+ miles today but the route was really tough so all in I'm pleased with the 14.
I'm tempted to do a flat run next time just to be lazy π€£ but I know I won't get the views...

Great run for you today GoGo_JoJo, nice graphics of your route, 14 miles, that is excellent, a little more than a half marathon. π π
Yes, the plan is to build on HM distance with a view to 20 mile runs. I was hoping for 14.5ish today but I forgot to plan in a short warm up walk so lost .5 at the start before I started running. Hey ho. No rush. πͺπ
Love the view logic π. 14 miles sounds a long way to me with hills! Well done
I was posting yesterday about a Kilomarathon, which is 26.2 Kilometres, got a few comments about that including one from Oldfloss.
26.2 Kilometres is just over 16 miles so it would be a stepping stone for you for your 20 mile runs, there are not many Kilomarathons, the only one I know of was Edinburgh, yes was, its past, not sure if there are any more..
Whatβs great run! I love the relive videos with all the pictures!
Great run JoJo! I only did around 10 miles on my maiden trail run today and that was enough with all the hills
I was thinking about you today, wondering how your maiden voyage into trail running went on your orientation run. Hope you had fun!
Thank you. Yes, it's a whole new world but the views are a great trade off ππ
Well done on your maiden trail run, you'll be hooked before you know it! π€£
I'd be happy with 14 too! Great run! π
